2017 Chamber Christmas Parade

The Crenshaw County Chamber hosted the 2017 Christmas Parade.  One hour and ten minutes of floats, queens, Fire Engines, marching groups, antique cars, Shriner’s hot rods, horses, trucks and more.  Trophies were awarded for the best floats in the categories of business, school and religion.  Among the trophy winners were Crenshaw Community Hospital, SMART ALABAMA LLC, and Luverne Elementary Honor Club.  Hundreds of spectators cheered as their favorite float passed by.  Santa and Mrs. Claus were available at the Pepsi Pavilion for picture taking and they also rode in the parade with Highland Home Volunteer Firemen.  The Chamber sold peanuts at two locations.  It was a grand parade, led by the Crenshaw County Scout troop, the American flag and the Chamber banner.
